These terms cover this website and the WhatsApp, booking and admin systems Vernon Family (Pty) Ltd builds and runs for businesses. By using them, you agree to these terms.
Who we are
Vernon Family (Pty) Ltd, Pretoria, South Africa. We build custom software and AI systems for businesses.
Businesses we work for
The work we do for a business, what it costs and how either side can end it are set out in the written proposal or agreement with that business. If that agreement says something different from these terms, the agreement wins.
If you message or book with a business through our systems
- You're dealing with that business. It is responsible for its services, its prices, its advice and its replies.
- An AI assistant may answer first. It can make mistakes, so check anything important with the business. It doesn't give medical or other professional advice.
- For an emergency, don't rely on WhatsApp or online booking. Phone the business or emergency services.
- You can stop automatic messages at any time by replying "Stop" or by asking the business.
- WhatsApp messages are also covered by WhatsApp's own terms.
Fair use
Please don't misuse our website or systems: no spam, no attempts to break in or overload them, and no unlawful or abusive messages. We may block anyone who does.
Your information
How we handle personal information is explained in our privacy notice.
Limits
We work hard to keep our systems running and accurate, but they depend on outside services (such as WhatsApp, hosting and internet providers) and can sometimes be unavailable. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses caused by an outage or a mistake. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under South Africa's Consumer Protection Act or other law that can't be excluded.
